President Chen Yulu is a professor in the School of Finance, Renmin University of China. He has a Ph. D. in Economics, and is a Ph. D. supervisor. He has been a senior fellow of Eisenhower Foundation, and a Fulbright scholar at the University of Columbia. He is now President of Renmin University of China. He is also Deputy Director of the Chinese International Finance Society, and Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Director of Chinese Monetary Society. He was listed in the “New-Century National Experts” Project commissioned by the Ministry of Personnel in 2004, and is receiving a special government subsidy from the State Council. He was awarded the “College Young Teacher’s Prize” by the Ministry of Education, and also awarded for supervising the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation. Professor Chen Yulu worked as a teacher in the Department of Finance, Renmin University of China, from January 1989 to June 1992. He was Deputy Director and Lecturer from July 1992 to January 1993, Deputy Director and Associate Professor from February 1993 to April 1997, Vice Dean and professor from May 1997 to January 2002, and Dean from January 2002 to May 2005, Vice President from May 2005 to March 2010. From March 2010 to October 2011, he was the president at Beijing Foreign Studies University. He has been the president of Renmin University of China since November 2011.
陈雨露，现任中国人民大学校长，财政金融学院二级教授，美国艾森豪威尔基金高级访问学者、哥伦比亚大学富布赖特高级访问学者。中共北京市第十一届委员会委员。兼任全国青联副主席、央行货币政策委员会专家委员、中国国际金融学会副会长，中国金融学会副秘书长、常务理事。荣获首届教育部全国高校青年教师奖、全国优秀博士学位论文指导教师奖；人事部“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选。1989年1月至1992年6月任中国人民大学财政金融系教师；1992年7月至1993年1月任中国人民大学财政金融系系主任助理、讲师；1993年2月至1997年4月任中国人民大学财政金融系副系主任、副教授；1997年5月至2002年1月任中国人民大学财政金融学院常务副院长、教授；2002年1月至2005年5月任中国人民大学财政金融学院院长、教授；2005年5月至2010年3月，任中国人民大学副校长；2010年3月，任北京外国语大学校长；2011年11月，任中国人民大学校长。
