Professor Ding Zhijie holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is an expert entitled to the special allowance of the State Council. He currently serves as the Director of the People's Bank of China Financial Research Institute, a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), the Assistant to the President, and the Executive Deputy Dean of the Graduate School. He is well-regarded for his teaching and supervises Ph.D. students. Professor Ding specializes in financial development and international finance. He is a member of the China Finance 40 Forum and a scholar of the Excellent Talent Program in the 21st Century under the Ministry of Education. He also serves as a council member of the China Society for Finance and Banking, the China Society of World Economics, and a standing director of the China International Finance Society, the China Institute of Rural Finance, and the China International Economic Relations Association.

经济学博士，中国人民银行金融研究所所长，国务院政府特殊津贴专家，对外经济贸易大学教授、博士生导师、校长助理兼研究生院常务副院长，主要研究发展金融与国际金融。北京市教学名师，中国金融40人论坛成员，教育部新世纪优秀人才计划学者；兼任中国金融学会、世界经济学会理事，中国国际金融学会、中国农村金融学会、中国国际经济关系学会常务理事。
