Mr. Xia Bin, the counselor of the State Council, honorary director of the Research Institute of Finance, Development Research Center of the State Council, director of Beijing Contemporary Economics Foundation. He is a researcher, a doctoral supervisor, an expert of the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Board, a member of Chinese Economy 50 Forum, executive director of the China financial institute and the director of the editorial committee of theBanker magazine.

Mr. Xia is an adjunct professor of PekingUniversity andZhejiang University. He is a member of the academic committee of post-doctoral mobile stations of People’s Bank of China, chief economist at China’s M&A guild. From the early 1990s,he was promoted to the deputy director of the financial institute of People’s Bank of China, director of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, general manager of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Xia Bin was once the head of the Policy Research Office of Supervision Department and non-bank financial institutions of People’s Bank of China. He was mainly engaged in macro policy, monetary policy, financial regulation and capital market research.
夏斌，国务院发展研究中心金融研究所名誉所长、国务院参事、北京当代经济学基金会理事长、中国首席经济学家论坛主席。享受国务院特殊津贴，研究员，博士生导师，国家哲学社会科学规划评审组专家，“中国经济50人论坛”成员，中国金融学会常务理事，《银行家》杂志编委会主任，上海、北京等多个省市政府特聘专家、顾问，北京大学、浙江大学等著名高校及国家行政学院兼职教授，中国人民银行总行博士后流动站学术委员会委员，中国并购公会首席经济学家。曾任中国人民银行货币政策委员会委员。从上世纪90年代初，曾历任中国人民银行总行金融研究所副所长、中国证监会交易部主任、深圳证券交易所总经理、中国人民银行总行政策研究室负责人、非银行金融机构监管司司长。主要从事宏观政策、货币政策、金融监管及资本市场的研究。
