Prof. Wang Liminggraduated from Hubei College of Finance and Economics in 1981, from Renmin University of China in 1984 with a master’s degree in law,and in 1990 with a PhD in law.In 1988 he was promoted to associate professor and was promoted to professor in 1992.From May 2005 to May 2009, he served as the dean of the law school in Renmin University of China. In December 2008, he served as the vice president and party secretary in Renmin University of China.In January 2014, he served as executive vice president and party secretary of Renmin University of China. He is the member ofthe law committee and the financial committee of National People’s Congress. He is one of the “Cheung Kong scholars” distinguished professors anda national candidate of theNew Century Pacesetter Project with special government allowances of the State Council.
王利明，教授，博士生导师。1981年毕业于湖北财经学院，1984年于中国人民大学获法学硕士学位并留校任教，1990年于中国人民大学获法学博士学位；1988年晋升为副教授，1992年晋升为教授；曾担任中国人民大学法学院副院长（法律系副主任），2005年5月至2009年5月担任中国人民大学法学院院长。2008年12月起任中国人民大学党委副书记兼副校长。2014年1月起担任中国人民大学常务副校长兼副书记。第九届、十届、十一届全国人大代表，全国人大财经委委员、全国人大法律委员会委员，“长江学者”特聘教授，“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。主要社会兼职有：国务院学位委员会法学学科评议组成员兼召集人、教育部全国高等学校法学学科教学指导委员会副主任委员、中国法学会民法学研究会会长、中国法学会法学教育研究会副会长、中国法学会审判理论研究会副会长、中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会副主任等。
