Wang Yongli is academic member of Graduate School of PBoC, School of Finance of Tsinghua University, member of international consultancy committee of Business School, Renmin University of China, director of CF40 forum. He began his teaching career in Renmin University of China after receiving a master degree there in July 1989. He joined the finance department of Bank of China in May 1989, participating China’s accounting system reform in 1993, foreign exchange management reform in 1994, finance related work in the process of specialized banks to commercial Banks transition in 1995 and establishing (computer) data model for Bank of China in 1996. He became vice director of Finance Department in 2007 and host department work comprehensively in 2008. He was in direct command of the response of Bank of China to the 2007 U.S subprime crisis and 2008 global financial crisis and has gained profound theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience in fiscal and taxation financial aspects. He also published multitudes of academic articles concerning related areas and much professional work.
经济学博士。1989年7月硕士毕业后留在中国人民大学任教。1989年5月进入中国银行总行财会部，先后参与了1993年中国财会制度大改革及1994年外汇管理体制改革在中国银行落实方案的制定实施，参与了1995年专业银行向商业银行转化过程中相关的财会转型工作，参与了1996年“中国银行（电脑）数据模型”的制定和实施工作，2007年担任财会部副总经理，2008年初主持部门全面工作。1999年4月担任新成立的资产负债管理部总经理。1999年11月份至2002年4月份，担任中国银行福建省分行常务副行长、行长；2002年5月至2003年11月担任河北省分行行长。 2003年11月担任中国银行总行行长助理、党委委员，2006年8月转任副行长，2012年兼任执行董事。先后参与了中国银行股份制改革过程中资本注入、清产核资、不良处置，以及与战略投资者合作方案的落实、在港沪两地上市流通的相关工作；直接负责2007年美国次贷危机和2008 全球金融危机中国银行的应对工作；牵头完成“中国银行IT 蓝图”的实施，大大提升了中国银行的信息科技水平；推动“中国银行全球统一支付平台”的立项、开发和实施，增强中国银行的全球支付清算能力，并大力支持人民币国际化发展；积极推动互联网金融的研究和发展；切实加强中国银行资产负债管理，有效提升包括对外对内利率定价、流动性管理、境内外筹资安排、存量资产结构调整、集团内部考核等方面的水平。 具有丰富的财税金融方面的理论知识和实践经验，发表了大量相关方面的文章，出版了多部专业著作。参与中国银行博士后工作站的工作，担任博士后的指导老师。兼任中国人民银行五道口研究生院的学术委员会委员、中国人民大学商学院国际咨询委员会委员、金融40人论坛理事等。
