Mr. Lian Ping holds a PhD degree and is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He enjoyed special government allowances of the State Council and is the member of China Finance 40 forum, director of the Industry Development Research Committee of China Banking Association, chairman of China Chief Economist Forum, academic member of Lujiazui Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Science, member of China New Supply-Side Economics 50 Forum, distinguished expert of decision-making consultation of Shanghai municipal government and doctoralsupervisor of Shanghai Academy of Social Science. His research interests mainly include macroeconomic operation and policy, foreign currency and exchange rate, offshore finance and commercial banking development strategy and management system. He has published approximately 350 academic papers, wrote 11 professional work, charge more than 20 national, provincial-level research subjects and received numerous awards.

主要研究领域涉及宏观经济运行与政策、外汇与汇率、离岸金融和商业银行发展战略与管理体制。迄今在境内外各类报刊上发表文章350余篇，出版著作11部，主持完成国家级、省部级以上研究课题20余项，多项获奖。《利率市场化：谁主沉浮》荣获中国银行业发展研究优秀成果评选（2014年）特等奖。

近年来，多次出席国务院总理主持召开的专家会议，经常出席国务院相关宏观管理部门的专家咨询会议，为高层决策提供建议。
